Can you put turkeys and chicken together

We had our chickens side by side w/ a tom and and hen, plus they free ranged together. Never had problems health wise. Our roo fought w/ the hen, and the tom chased me, but other than that...

Growing up we had chickens and turkeys and every other fowl you can imagine living under the same roof, but black head wasn't an issue. Now where I live I'm planning to keep them separate by 150 feet, just in case.
