Can you recommend a good, cheap hatchery for my 1st duckling order??

I got the very last batch of Pekins shipped out of townline. They took a full three days to get to Mid-Tennessee, but after some food and water they were crazy lively. They are not gaining weight like I wanted, when compared to Metzer's chart (for his Grimaud Pekin Hybrids). They are very healthy and active. I'm blaming heat for part of the subpar weight gain. I lost one to heat yesterday, but the rest are doing just fine.

Oregon Blues, I did not know about Metzer's specials on Mondays. That excites me as I really want to try some of his ducks out.

Mommy, how much are you going to charge for growing out those meat ducks. Also, you do know that the Muscovies will not have the Feed Conversion Efficiency that the Pekins will, right?

I know that the muscovies will be different, we are just going to raise them until they are good sized. These are all for one person. We aren't really sure yet what we're going to charge..?? The guy we are raising them for has Guillane Barre (sp?) and can only eat a handful of foods, mainly duck, geese, emu, goat and beans. We now have 32 ducklings (pekins and muscovies) and the guy may want us to raise 40 more next month and also some geese. We'll just have to see how long it takes to process the birds and figure out a price them. The guy we are raising them for is really nice, he is paying us for feed up front and we will decide a fair profit together when it comes time to butcher them. He wants to make sure we make money on it, but I also want to be fair and not make TOO much.
