Can you ride an ostrich?

I rode one once in South Africa, it was an interesting experience for sure! they covered their head, i climbed on holding onto the base of the wings, my legs under wings, a man ran behind... kind of stearing...... it was one the the coolest things i've ever done.... ill try to post a pic of my friend who was with me

So everyone knows you can ride an ostrich, but for how long? That's what I'd like to know.

Ah.....if only the Moa was still around; now THAT would be a ride!

Unfortunately, riding ostriches is very detrimental to their health & they have to be put down after a year of riding as it damages their bones so badly. I grew up in South Africa where it's done for tourists.
