OMG after waiting for MONTHS my new Wheaten Ameracaunas FINALLY gave me eggs! (thanks Jean!)
Hubby and I are building 3 new breeder pens today. I happen to go in the chicken coop for something and there sits 3 of the most beautiful eggs. So then of course I had to go and catch all of them since they have grown up free ranging. Emptied out a peafowl pen and put the ameracaunas in the pen so that by christmas I'll have pure eggs. YAY I'm so excited! not only are these birds just beautiful... their eggs are spectacular!
