can you see anything in day 3 chicken eggs

Possibly in a white egg, probably not in a brown or blue egg. It is suggested to wait at least until day 5-7 to candle for the first time, and I prefer not to throw out clear eggs until days 10-14 :)
Good luck :)

Just anxious to see if there developing
I'm sure they are :) I've opened eggs that had quit around day 3, and there are only a few tiny blood vessels and a little blob, so it's very hard to see through the shell. A few more days and they should be visible, but don't freak out if it's not clear what is there, it can be hard to see!
I always tell myself "I will wait until day 7!"
I candle on day 6 every time haha

Candled only 1 white egg I see development so excited now pray I got temp and humidity right this time so they hatch instead of dieing.

I normally spot check every night. I usually see development on day 3. My eggs range from a almost white to different degrees of brown and some green. The green I can usually see the first few days, after a week- forget it lol. This hatch I'm on now I had 6 eggs (out of 21 to start) that I sat aside to candle nightly and the rest were slated for the normal 7/14/18. I think I started posting candling pics at day four on the She said/He Said thread. I made it to about day 14 before I couldn't get a decent enough pic to post. Quite a few others have shared their candling pics as well. If you are interested take a look at the album for the thread. There's some really cool candling pics in there. Even a couple of a double yolker.

Well I tried right before this and they developed but 3 were alive till around 21 days but underdeveloped when I finally opened them and one looked good to me but didn't hatch. I think my temp was to low and humidity was to high. I turned my temp up and am running dry praying they hatch this time
