Can you seperate a pair? WOuld they rebond?

I have a problem. I am in the middle of a divorce and I have to move. This happened after I got the ducks, so it totally wasnt part of the plan. I have 2 rouen ducks. I am thinking I could get away with one of them (the male) in my apartment, but my female is just way way way toooooo noisy. Could I seperate them? If I did, would the male ever imprint back on me or would he always want his duck friend? Or should I try and rehome them together?

I hate to have to give up my babies...I have raised them sense birth and put blood (seriously) sweat and tears into raising them. I would at least like to keep one if at all possible.....:-(

to be fair to the duck I would rehome the pair personally. I would think he would get lonely when you are at work, out with friends, etc ...jmo.....
eta- maybe a friend that makes you able to visit?
