A while back our EE Rose got really sick. She was around 9 months old and the day before she was fine. I let them out of the pen one morning and they all walked out but then Rose just fell down and laid there. Nugget our other hen started picking on her so i shooed her away and went over to Rose to see what was going on. She was very lethargic, wouldn't stand up or walk around. So we brought her inside. She would not eat or drink so I had to resort to hand feeding her. This went on for about 2 weeks. I thought we were really close to loosing her, all she would do was lay in the dog kennel and not move or make noises. I couldn't even tempt her with veggies. Thankfully hand feeding her mash and water every day for those 2 weeks she pulled through and has now made a full recovery. She is about a 14 months old now and is laying everyday and no issues have come up,....well except she is molting right now so she looks pretty ugly. But I am curious as to what she may have gotten. If you anyone has any idea I would love to hear it!
