Can you tell if a 16 day old chick is a roo??

we have some 16 day old chicks that have some combs that are single combs and they are kinda tall for the age just wonder if you can tell by the height of there comb??

For me I could tell on my Buff Orpington roo. His comb was far more developed than his sisters were. His legs were also a different color and thicker.

i have month old and 20 day olds i could tell because they have waddles already. here is pic of the month old.

My bantam cochins were obvious which were males and which were females by 3 weeks old. The males combs grew pink and taller much more quickly than the females.
