Can you tell if its a male or female

This little one hatched on June 3rd. I was really hoping it was a little female. But the older it gets, I'm starting to think it's a male?
(notice the extra toes........just like the father) (The last picture is of mother and father. She is supposed to have short black tail feathers but she was attacked by a fox and lost a lot of them!

If that comb is as red as the pictures make it look, it's a boy.
