I have two buff orpington's that I was told at purchase were female, but I am starting to think one might not be a female. They have similar mannerisms, however, today I came home to the one sitting with a leg and wing out....not quite girl like! LOL. They both eat and drink well and are always cuddling together.
The one bird is very fluffy and not much of a comb showing yet. The other one is the one in question and is pictured below. There is a more defined comb and not quite as fluffy yet.
The chicks were born on 4/11, so just about 4 weeks old. They are so sweet and cuddly, I am not sure what to do if it is a boy as we cannot keep a male in the city.
I am new to this as these are my first chicks. Can anyone assist me with this?
Thank you!!
