Can you tell me what breed she is please?

The lady who sold me my chickens told me that this hen is a DeKalb and should be laying white eggs. We’ve been getting 3 or 4 eggs a day from 4 hens but she’s the only one who’s supposed to be giving white eggs and we’re only getting brown and tan.

She does look like a dekalb/amber link. I had a couple of these in the past and they were fab layers!

They don’t lay white eggs though they lay brown eggs. More info in link below.

OMG THANK YOU! That makes so much more sense.

The previous owner just said "the rest are brown so here, have this DeKalb so you have some white eggs too." It was dark and I guess she assumed the hen was a DeKalb White but a DeKalb Amberlink makes more sense with the eggs and the fact she always looks kinda grungy/stained.
