This is a stock photo of an ameracauna rooster.
In your pic it looks like maybe he has white legs, so could he be an ameracauna?

I do believe that stock photo is an EE. There are only certain standard colors for Ameraucanas; Blue, White, Black, Wheaten, Blue Wheaten, Buff...

I'm not familiar with the specifics and I understand you're probably right about that. I have a full flock right now but I think I would love a flock of EEs.

I have nothing against EEs.

I promised my kids they can use some of their allowance for EEs in the spring, as a matter of fact. We have a couple of EE/BA mutts in our flock right now that lay really pretty eggs, too.

thinking back on all the blue and green eggs we used to find as kids EE rooster makes the most sense
