Can you use a Buff Orpington rooster to get sexlinks?

Can you get a sexlink chick using a Buff Orpington rooster and if so what breed hen would you use to cross it with?

If you breed a Buff Roo over a Barred Hen you'd get sex linked chicks (black pullets, black barred cockerels) but I dont think anything with the actual buff genes would make sex linked chicks, it'd just rely on the ladies genes : D (which barring is sex linked) if you want to use a barred lady and do that though check our Marans or Plymouth Rocks ^^ Buff can be a little unpredictable sometimes since the genes that make it still aren't fully understood, but it's a gorgeous color <3

Yes. The cross with a barred rock or similar will produce birds that are almost the same as the common black sex links.
Buff is gold based so you can also breed red sex links by breeding to a silver based hen.

What are some silver based hen breeds? I know so little about this, so I thank you for any knowledge you can give me.
