My brothers cat passed away recently and he still has an industrial amount of cat litter left over.
I do not have poop boards and all the poop ends up on the ground. I am looking to build poop boards as it will be easier for me to regularly maintain it. I know they like to peck and eat all sorts of things and thats why i am asking first.
I am scared that if i use sand they will try and dust bathe in it. they always do what they aren't supposed to do (sleep and poop in nesting boxes). Are there other alternatives to putting sand if cat litter is a no no?
