Can you walk a turkey on a leash?

I heard of this rumor that turkeys could be walked by leash and. Harness . Is it true? If so how do you do it

Yes, it's true. I entered a turkey in the elementary school's pet contest in third grade and trained the turkey to walk on a small dog harness. Bless that turkey, it walked like it was supposed to, right up on the stage, stood there, pooped, and we processed off the stage regally. The next girl came up on stage with her dog, the dog ate the turkey poop, and I still hear about it 40 years later.

That made my whole day! Week even! What a cute funny story! My dogs eat turkey poop too. Its gross but I dont mind as much when im playing with my 2 baby turkeys inside and they clean up the inevitable surprises. My turkeys have harnesses in their future too. They are delightful and I want to be able to bring them inside even when they are huge and therefore huge poops.
