Can young chicken handle a change in water source?

I will have them on "town water" until they are feathered out then move them out of town to "well" water.

They will be fine. It won't bother them.

Should be fine, maybe even better depending on how your town treats it's water.
Course, well water can be funky...if you can drink it, will be fine for the birds.
Curious, why the move?
