Canada goose mom missing

Another possibility, maybe she layed a 2nd clutch of eggs and is now setting again, as her others are older and doing well on their own.

Well, I don't know that they are either, it is all purely speculation, the goose is missing and you were looking for reasons why? She could also have sickened and died, maybe she was old... All we can do in response to your post is speculate really.

She looked perfectly fine the other day when I saw her. And I doubt she was even okd. At least she didn't look like it.. I don't even know how you can tell if a Canada goose is old.

I didn't know that Canada geese can nest twice? I thought it was only once a year. And the goslings she has now are like a couple months old.

Well, figure it all out for yourself then. Find an explanation that pleases you and stick to it. At least you know where "Wawa" is... and a couple of months is old enough to get along with just Daddy gander. My turkey hen has started laying again and her poults are 6 or 7 weeks. Oh, and when you figure it out, you can let us know!

I don't think they have babies more then once a year. Some may be later then other's but I have never saw twice. They generally stick together no matter what, so her not being there is probably not a sign of anything good.

Yea, I looked all around the spot they're staying at and no sign.. at the other spot I go to one of the grown goslings went missing. I don't understand how these geese and goslings go missing.

When it comes to the goslings, snapping turtles can be the answer. They take out a lot of baby waterfowl. Again, not familiar with your area or if you have any of those... But, again, you not seeing them or being aware of them does not mean they aren't there.
