Hi everyone,

Hoping for some insight from some Canadians that have been having the same down right freezing winter that I have been having. I live in Ontario just north of the NY boarder.

I had my first hatch on February 14, 2015. So about a week and a half ago. My chicks are growing like crazy (all but one) but they also are stinking up my house.

We do have a full barn, we have sheep and cows and a spot for the coop-all separate.. My question: is it to early to put them out there? It's about minus 22 degrees Celsius, which is minus 7.6 Fahrenheit. I do realize how cold that is but they are very quickly outgrowing And stinking my house and soon they will be to big for the brooder. (Which I have already doubled in size)

I do understand that you're supposed to go down 5degrees each week so I am no where near what is recommended but I need some advice on what other winter hatches have done?

Any input would be greatly appreciated!
