As it turns out the chair of the parents association (a new friend of mine) has Ameraucana and he gave me 3 birds. 2 hens and 1 roo

he is in greenwood and our kids are in school, and hockey together.
What luck eh?

I might take orders for next year if anybody is interested.

Just sayin' "Hello" to my homeland and all its chicken lovers! I grew up in Halifax, Nova Scotia and then lived in Guelph, Ontario for 6 years before moving here to Iowa for a job. Been here 6 years now. But I love coming home and miss many things about Canada.

Hello ChooksinIowa.....!!! From Puslinch Ontario!!! 10 minutes from Guelph....actually lived there ..kids go to school in Guelph ...a la french.....moved to Puslinch 2 years ago.......Just wanted to tell you the leaves are turning colours EH!!!
