I candled at day 10 and 18.
Thought I had 5 good ones but on closer inspection saw air cell at both ends??????
What does that mean .
Thank You

on all the eggs or just 1? were they shipped or local eggs?

could mean a couple things. if they were shipped they may have been 'scrambled' and what you're seeing is the same air cell when you rotate the egg. could also be just clear fluid that appears like an egg cell? if it's a true captive air cell at both ends, don't worry and just treat it normally, the chick will figure out what to do, though i would incubate (and turn) the eggs with large end higher, to encourage drawdown on that end first.

Are you certain it was an aircell you saw at the bottom(pointy) end? At 10 days the chick would not occupy the whole egg, you would see some light penetrating through the bottom(pointy) end of the egg. Either way it wont hurt to have the big end up. Good luck.

Good grief,
I just cannot seem to get in writing all the facts....................
These are shipped eggs.......went into lockdown yesterday......
Also Seramas which I know are fragile.
Guess I will have better answers in a few days...........
The area at the bottom was at lock down candeling.
Thanks to those who responded.
