is it ok to candle eggs before day seven? cuz i really want to see if anything is developing but my sister is being really annoying and wont let me.

you won't be able to see anything, I already told you that. and I didn't say to wait until day seven, I said day 2 and a half is a bit too early to be candling.

I think it's time for a time out for you siblings.

I agree tho it doesn't really pay to try and candle that early because you won't be able to see much. The more you handle them the more likely you are to harm them. Just wait until day 7 or 8 and then give it a try. By then you should be able to see veins and a small dark spot swimming around.

Now, quit arguing and kiss and make up! My kids used to hate when I'd make them give each other a hug and a kiss when they were fighting.

Candling in the first few days of incubation is very dangerous for the embryo, which is just trying to get its start at development. The embryo and vein network is very fragile at this time and you really should avoid handling until after 7 days.
