Candeling to early most often ends upon damage to the embryo. There isn't much sense in candeling if your just going to cause it harm. The ones here that do it have been doing it for years and have the experience.

The experience can only come with time, so don't rush it, just learn from it.

I've been hatching eggs for years, and candle at 5 days, 10 days, 15 days, respectively. They have all hatched. Just be careful candling! It's easier said then done.
