hi i just candelled my eggs at day 8 and it is my first time nyway i think 8 out of 9 are fertile i can see air sacs on all of them and on 2 even veins with the others since i cant see veins does this mean they are not fertile or have stopped development or are they still ok

Hi It could mean that they are infertile but it could just be that the shells maybe darker so you can’t see the veins very well. If in doubt just leave them in and re-candle in a few days as the veins maybe showing by then.

so even if they have air sacs and are darker as i tested on an infertile egg does this mean they still might not be fertile?

oh and i should mention that the air sacs are the right size for the day going off what i have found online and from a sheet from the incubator
