We have tons of candian geese on our pond.

Canada geese are found all over and in many places never migrate away like they use to

Since we are in Canada, seems everywhere you look in early summer, there they are. They fly overhead almost every hour in May. Beautiful birds!

We have a pair of wild Canadian geese that have returned to our ponds/farm for over 10 years to raise clutch of eggs....up to six one year They are so familiar with us that they come up to the gate south of the barn for grain I set out for them and will let me get within 5 feet to put the gran in the container. They bring the goslings up when they are feathered. We named them Lucy and Goosey.

So sweet, I love geese

we had a pair fly in one year and visit for half a day for 2 days, It was an especially cold spring and I think they were hungry They ended up nesting along the river down below our home, they tired to nest there this spring but we had so much rain they got flooded out, hopefully they tried some place else.

We had some a long time ago but our dog ran out and jumped in the pond to get them.

x2!!!!! An average tire would allow a good number of birds to feed at once and old tires are easy to get!
