Candle eggs

    Hello, I am new to quail I wanted know if anyone here candles their eggs? Also at what day do you do it? Thanks![​IMG]

    Most quail eggs are hard to candle. On day 8 I check for clear ones then just ride it out LOL

    I was thinking that they would be hard to candle, but I will try on day 8 right now I am on day 4. Is the incubation time the same as chickens?

    pretty much the same but everyone has their own tried and true temps and humidity. [​IMG]

    What kind of quail eggs do you have
    the times are different by breed

    LOL those are I am told easy to candle never did them thou
    I think it is 24 days

    its either 23 or 24 i thought 23 but now im not sure [​IMG] and YES those are VERY easily candled! [​IMG]
