Candled @ day 3... Questions (PICTURE post 4)

Best to candle at Day 10. Then you are sure that there is or is not something in the egg. Day 3 is near to impossible to tell anything. Candling too early can damage the delicate network just beginning to form. In other words, candling at day 3 can actually kill the embryo.

oops. but i have read that others candle every day and still get a good hatch rate. I'm leaving the eggs alone for sure till day 10.
i just added water to the incubator today...
so far soo good...hopefully.

Im one to talk! i candled my Twin egg everyday

. Ive got serama eggs in now and i candle them everday. My Silver Laced Wynodott I sitting on 2 eggs and she gets off everyday to eat & drink so its no different to what the hen does. The only way we learn is to do things like this. You candle everyday if you like. Cant wait to see another picture. Ill send you a picture of one of my serama eggs its very very pourus. Its a shipped egg..
