At eight days.

Saw what looked like veins in all of them, but their air cells look pretty big... is this normal?

I don't have a humidity gauge, so i;ve just been adding water occasionally.

I don't know the answer to your question. I'm incubating duck eggs, and I have the same questions. I think the air cell is smaller relative to the size of the egg with ducks, and honestly, I still don't really know what exactly it should look like anyway (I'm on my second hatch).

I hope someone will pipe in and let you know. I didn't use a hygrometer with my first hatch either, but they are cheap at Walmart--get Acurite, for under $20. They're a good brand, even though they do come from Walmart.
