Candleing Turkey eggs ?

At what stag does one candle turkey eggs ? is it like chicken eggs , day seven/eight ?

You should be able to see if they're fertilize easily by day 7/8 should see veining and small embryo by then.

With turkey eggs I prefer to wait to at least day 10. The speckling on the shell sometimes makes it hard to be sure of what you're looking at. But in my experience by day 10 you'll know for sure.

I typically wait until day 14 on my turkey eggs. The earliest I will take a look is on day 10, but I never remove any that early as it is generally too hard to see through their shells to be sure.

Are the eggs that much darker ? or is the shell thicker ? I see that they have speckles , and I believe I have three different breeds so there is a diffrence in size as well as color . I might need a stronger flashlite !
