I'm on day 18 of incubating a seb goose egg. It's getting really difficult to see through and most of the egg is consumed by black. I don't see much movement or veining. Also there seems to be a independent small dark blob or two in there. I havnt seen much movement or veins since day 7 but the dark mass gets larger every day and I'm worried this is bacteria growing because theres a weird smell in the incubator, but the egg has no smell at all.

Anyone have pics of a candled egg with bacteria growth???

I don't have any pics, but I had a rotting egg. Yes it can be fooling you. I too had a"weird" smell. When it started to weep I knew I was in trouble! I popped it open - outside of course - and wow! It sounded like a gun going off and the SMELL!!!
