Ok so I have an odd question,I can’t find no answers anywhere!
So my incubator has a built in candler right there in the auto turner. So I literally push a button on the incubator and the candlers just turn on.dont have to open the lid or nothing! My daughters seem to want to turn the candler on every day when they walk by but only for a few quick seconds and turn in back off to see what is going on in the eggs.We are only on day 3 so I keep telling them they won’t see anything so stop!Lol but my question is,is do you think any harm has came to the eggs since they have been turning the in incubator candler on so much?
And I can post pictures of the incubator if anyone needs a visual of what I am talking about!
Thank you for your help!

A picture or link to what incubator you have would be helpful, though I think I know which one you're referring to. I don't have any experience with it to be able to definitively say that it doesn't heat up too much for a short period of time peeking but I would like to think they wouldn't put hot bulbs inside an incubator. Regardless of what type of light it is, if they're not leaving it on for extended periods of time there shouldn't be any harm in it.

I felt the light when we first bought it and they seem to put a little heat out but not a whole lot.so I’m hoping they didn’t mess the whole hatch up by doing that!!!
