Just for those of you who are thrifty. Husband got an LED flashlight for $3 at Fry's. It has 9 LED units and I could see the yolk and egg sack of my brown and green eggs.
Nothing fancy, but it's pretty bright.

I recently found one at dollar general and it was 6 bucks but it was bright and I was able to see my chicks so I checked on their progress every week I couldn't help myself! I have three days and my first hatch should be pipping but with the light I found out which one's wern't good before hatch time so I had 17 and only have chicks in 8 eggs so hopefully I will have 8 chicks!
