Candling help, now with more pics day 8!

Well??? What's happening? More chicks???? C'mon spill it!

Still just the one totally out, the other that pipped is still working on unzipping. I can’t see any pips from the other 6. Should I be getting worried? :/

What day are you on? If it's day 21 to 23, then I wouldn't worry yet. Didn't you say earlier that you had a day or so of wonky temperatures? That could effect hatch times also. I would just wait it out.
After this second chick hatches and is dried off and fluffed out, you can grab the both of them and put them in the incubator. Maybe as you grab them you can quickly look at the other eggs.
Or if the 2 chicks are like chicks I have had, they may knock the other eggs about a bit and you can see a different view of them. I would not move them ( the eggs) around because you don't want to mess up a chick that is trying to hatch.

Technically today is day 21. I was surprised to see them pip yesterday but wonky temps could explain it. I’ll just keep working on the brooder and try to relax! Thanks for your reassurance

Love all of the candling pics and can't wait to see them all dry and fluffed out . I had 3 hatch last year and have 7 in my friends incubator now, due to hatch Thursday....can't wait!

Still only 1... I opened the incubator to grab him because he was pooping on all the other eggs. The other pipped chick is still peeping inside the egg. Still no visible pips from the others.

So only eggs 4 and 5 hatched. I still have the rest in the incubator but I’ve given up hope that they are going to hatch. I candled but no movement or internal pips that I can see. Today is day 23.

Sadly none of my eggs hatched this weekend. I don't think Thunder was doing all of his rooster duties...

I have now caught him and Lacey in the act of "chicken dancing" so we are going to try again.

Oh, I'm so sorry the other eggs didn't hatch. How many did you have, was it 7? At least you got two good babies out of it. Next time will be more successful!
