I candled the 8 eggs that I put under my broody hen yesterday. That was day 11. I see lots of veins, and in some I can even see the embryo moving. I was just wondering if someone could answer my question about the air sacs. On a few of them that I couldn't see movement the air sacs were really loose, and would move slightly when I turned the egg around. I didn't find that in the eggs with the moving embryos, so I was wondering what does a really loose air sac mean? Thanks!

Probaly bad eggs but wouldnt toss them yet

Sounds like the air cell has been broken. They probably wont hatch but give them a few days and check their progress but at 11 days you probably would have seen something.

I bought 1o eggs off ebay, and i candled them on day 14 and everyone had the loose air sacs. i just left them and 20 days later 5 have hatched
