Candling on day 5?

I am hatching chicks in my classroom and was curing about candling the eggs with them on Friday, which is day 5. Will we see anything if anything is going on?

They have Monday off so I thought maybe it'd be fun to look before the weekend.

you may see a few veins or a small black dot. not much to see yet , its better around day 10.

I am on day 5 and I candled them because I could wait no longer. Well actually I did yesterday too. Most of them you can tell that they were fertile. Some had veins, some had a dark spot but couldn't see the veining. I saw a blood ring and one really looked infertile. BUT I know if I wait a few more days, I can see better. Its so hard to wait though. Some say they can see the heartbeat at day 5 but I definately cannot see any heartbeats. Maybe my light is not good enough???
