Candling pictures from our first attempt at hatching eggs

We are on Day 16 of our very first attempt to hatch eggs (using a homebrew egg incubator I posted about here). I built this little contraption to hold the eggs so I could take pictures of the candling process:



We have brown eggs with thick shells so I had to buy an extremely strong flashlight to see them. These pictures were all taken on Day 14. Sorry about the watermark, I co-posted these on our homesteading blog.
