candling question

I put some duck eggs in the incubator last Saturday, and today is day 4. How often can I candle them? I really want to candle them, but I'm not sure if it's bad for the eggs. Any advice?

You can candle them whenever as long as you're careful. I candle at day 5 to pull clears, then every two days.

It won't hurt the eggs, however the longer you wait the more you will be able to see by candling.
