Yes I can tell as it is my first time hatching as well. I waited till day 5 before I did my first candle. Had one dud. Pulled it out. Just candled again last night, day 12, and pulled another one that stopped. I have high hopes for my last 4 silkie eggs. Its a killer with this waiting thing! Only 4 more days till lockdown. I feel your broodiness!!!!
