I candled 24 pheasant eggs today, along with 6 BR, 6 Polish, 5 golden sebrights, 12 millie fleur d'uccles, and 16 silkies. All of them were shipped eggs. The results are in.

    I still have:

    12 pheasant eggs
    5 barred rock
    4 polish
    4 sebrights
    8 d'uccles
    11 silkies

The pheasants are on day 14 and the others are all on day 7. 10 more days until the pheasants hatch. I think that I may be home from working out of town when they do.

Pheasants take about 25 days I think it is.

I thought maybe that would make a difference and you'd be home [IMG]

It did make a difference. I should be home for them hatching. The others will hatch in two weeks and I'm not sure if I will still be working out of town then or not. Guess we will see. I'm glad that DW is perfectly capable of dealing with it if I'm not here.
