Candling results! GOOD NEWS

I am on day six and will be candling tonight when I get home from work at midnight! I'm so excited! (see results on post 4) This is my first hatch in my new incubator (Digital Sportsman 1502). Can't wait to see what happens. I have eight black Ameraucanas (from an auction I won here) in there plus four of my own D'uccles (from my hen who FINALLY started laying eggs again

) Wish me luck! On Sunday night I will be candling 24 Banevelder eggs and 12 Bantam MIlle cochin eggs I have in there for a friend of mine

PLUS two more D'uccle eggs stuck in with that bunch

Should be interesting!
I'm hoping to get my dozen BBS Ameraucana eggs from Cree Farms soon too

March/April will be pretty darn busy for me! Let me know if your hatching around the same time.

I just posted the results from candling my light colored eggs (7 yay, 3 nay), and will get to the dark eggs in a few days.
