Anybody have any pics on turkey eggs? Mine are now at day 10 - I am pretty sure I see something in some of them, but a lot of them look like there is a big yolk just floating around inside. It is dark, but I don't see any veins or movement (I have a very bright flashlight and also use a brinsea candler) What goes with those that look like the "big yolk"? I am not going to get rid of any of them, just need to know if they might be viable and I just don't know what I am looking at.

You should see veins by now. The dark spot is yolk, the veins will be around the outside of the yolk on day 10 with a dark dot in the middle of the veins being the embryo. Sounds like poor fertility, maybe the tom isn't doing his job?

That's what I thought, just not sure, bought these eggs at an auction - so who knows. I'll keep them in the bator for a while just in case. Thanks!!!!

I know this is old, but in case you’re still on here...did your eggs ever hatch? I’m day 10 now too. I’m wondering if my Jake is fertile yet.
