It’s the weirdest thing, at first 3 hens wanted to sit on the clutch now none of them do. We’re gonna incubate them instead, do hens accept chicks that aren’t their own, or should i seperate them when they hatch

They definitely won't accept them and Chicks will need a warm Brooder to grow in....

I am so sorry anpbout your roosters! I had to rehome my RIR, (and my Barred Rock) because she was very aggressive and started cannibalizing one of her flock mates.

What exactly does this mean?
I'm guessing they were not truly broody, it can be hard to know unless you pay close attention and interpret their behaviors correctly. Takes some practice, but once you know that 'broody cluck' sound...smh...I can tell a couple days before they go to the nest.

Here are some signs of a broody:
Is she on nest most the day and all night?
When you pull her out of nest and put her on the ground, doesn't she flatten right back out into a fluffy screeching pancake?
Does she walk around making a low cluckcluckcluckcluckcluck(ticking bomb) sound on her way back to the nest?
If so, then she is probably broody and you'll have to decide how to manage it.

A hen will not accept and 'mother' chicks unless she has been truly broody for a couple weeks. Also the chicks must be about a day old or they might not accept her.
