I candled on day 13 for duck eggs. All was good, veining, moving, darkness. I am just curious, if the duck died inside the egg would the veins disappear? the veins are still there but if the bird died would the veins still be there or disappear. I know there wouldn't be veins if it died at an early stage but at the later stage would there still be veins if it died?

I have noticed that if a duckling dies- say around day 10 - 20 the veins are still visable for a few days- but visably less each day untill there is just a few random squiggly bits left.
