Candling

anyone know why it is so hard to candle pheasant eggs? My duck and chicken eggs are easy as pie to see through... But pheasants i can barely make out the yolk from whites. Any advice or reasons why?

Sometimes the color of the egg makes it a little harder to see

Very bright Light, Very dark Room! Usually night time is the best time.
