Just wanted to share this pic I took of a huge cane toad that was under the duck pond. Believe it or not I've caught bigger then this . (Side note: Always wash your hands after picking these guys up!).

Is this because they are poisonous or do they pee on you?

Well, both . They make a toxin from the glands on their head/near their eyes and if you get it on your hands and then in your mouth (or touch your pets) it would be very bad.

It can also burn your eyes something fierce!
