Canesten (Clotrimazole 2%) for how many days to treat yeast infection?

Yes, she's such a cutie. Today she was better too. Still weak and thin, but more alert, moving.

While bathing her today I found what seems to be a hard mass on the left side of vent area, very close to the leg. So could be a tumor, oviduct problem -- and I'm prepared for the worst...

But I'm holding out some hope for an intestinal blockage and maybe hernia from straining. Because after a short Epsom salt soak, the mass broke up a little and moved. And for the first time today she pooped some solids that looks like there's parasites involved: a big wad of slimy stuff with a clot of blood. She's on day 2 of Amprolium so maybe hopefully is shedding the cocci. If she continues to improve and makes it for the next few days, after 5 days of Amprolium, I'll deworm her again. If this thing is intestinal and not reproductive, there's hope is how I see this. So I'm going to do what I can.
You may be feeling her Gizzard or part of the digestive tract.
Did you happen to get a photo of what she passed?

I didn't get a photo. The other chicks were around and I wanted to scoop it up and move it before any other chick stepped in it. But it looked almost exactly like this pic here, except with some bubbles. Her other poops today were also bubbly/foamy.

There seems to be different opinions about treating for cocci and worms at the same time. If this could also be worms, it is advisable to do both now? Or finish the Amprolium and then deworm?

I agree. I think it could be lifesaving at this point. I was only going to wait because some threads say to space the treatments out.

Can you help me with dosing and timing throughout the day? Both treatments I have are in soluble powder: Amprolium and 22% Fenbendazol. For the Amprolium I'm dissolving half a teaspoon in a liter of water and syringing it to her throughout the day. I want to make sure she's getting it. I get about half the liter in her over the day. I mix it fresh in the morning. Is this ok?

For the Fendendazol, the woman at the supply store says the powder settles in water and to mix it with food instead right before they eat once a day for 4 days. That was how I used it previously.

But how much for just one chick -- since I'm giving Butchie special food. In terms of a tsp or centimeter? I don't have a scale that weighs in grams. The info online is all in grams per kilo.

Do I have to do the whole flock again? There's five other chicks: two 3+ year olds 2 11 month pullets. They are all fine. Cleo the Indestructible is like a new hen, 3 big eggs in the last five days, crop empty every morning, back to regular layer feed.

This morning Butchie ate breakfast with the flock (her own protein meal, covered with a big basket so Cleo doesn't eat her food). Her comb and face have better color, but she's tiny and not very strong. But this is the best I've seen her since she took the nosedive four days ago. Amprolium seems to be helping so far. I'm still treating her with Canesten too, twice a day.

Anyway, I'll look for more specific dose info for the dewormer but if you have any advice I'd appreciate as always

I looked at a chicken anatomy chart and saw that the gizzard and small intestine are located where I felt the mass. I did scoop up two other hens to feel their abdomens in the same way. Neither had this lump on the left side like Butchie so she's got something in there. Hopefully a partial blockage and it will clear with evicting the parasites (if that's the problem). There are some solids in her poop, so something is getting out at least.

Poor little girl is putting up a fight though. Cleo told her not to give up. I have celiacs and before I was diagnosed I used to have painful intestinal blockages and digestive problems so I really feel for Butchie here. I just hope if the parasites are the problem and they leave her intestines aren't too damaged.

Amprolium sounds fine.

For the Fenbendazole powder, you may find this link helpful for dosing.
Since it settles out of water, I'd mix her dose with a bit of food, a treat of yogurt, something like that.

And I decided to mix up the dewormer into the feed for the all the chicks. Another 3 year old, Cherie, has been laying some pretty thin shelled eggs recently. I gave her calcium too. It's been 6 weeks now since the last deworm anyway so figure good insurance for the rest. I'm ok to toss eggs for a week to get everyone healthy.

The packet of Fenbendazol I have is 10g. I looked up the brand product info here in Ecuador and got a helpful hint:
1/4 packet per 10kg weight.
So 2.5g per 10kg. So I figure my six chicks weigh about 12kg all together. Cleo and Cherie are the only bigger girls. So I mix a little bit more than 1/4 packet in half a cup of tepid water, mix well and then damp their feed with that water, mix really well, and feed them.

I'll feel pretty dumb if Butchies problem does turn out to be a recurrence of worms. But I'd rather feel dumb than have a sick chickie.

Here she is this morning. She's not hunching up nearly as much. The mass on the left side of the belly is now softer, but fuller feeling. Hopefully she can move whatever is in there soon.
