Canine Thunder Shirt

I just bought one for my dog has anyone else used it and found it succesful????

I have heard that people have had good results from these, I tried to replicate the idea by putting a lightweight dog coat on and binding it snuggly round the middle, whch as far as I could see is what the Thunder shirt does? It didn't work

I would like to know how it works for you. I am thinking about getting one for each of my rescue dogs, but it is expensive so I would like to know if it made any difference for your dog. One of my dogs is an anxios barker, any little sound he barks at. The other is scared of noises and unusal things.

A friend of mine uses it for her dog that IS petrified of thunder and says it works amazingly well

I would just give my dog a kennel and make it a comfy get away with blankets and what not on it. It worked for my little dog. My big dogs like the kennel too. My shepherd no longer has a kennel in the house so he hides behind the couch under the table, we have a heater/air condition vent under there so he is quite spoiled.
