Does it smell bad? Do you have a picture where it shows up? Canker, a protozoan infection, can look like wet fowl pox. Have you seen any dry fowl pox scabs on your chickens recently? If it is canker, it is a disease that can spread to your whole flock. Treatments include metronidazole, ronidazole, acidifed copper sulfate, and some choose to cull affected birds. There have been more threads about acidified copper sulfate treatment here on BYC lately, since antibiotics are hard to get and require long egg withdrawal times. Here it is available at a good price, and dosage is 1/4 tsp per gallon of water:
