Canker treatments

There are many articles/threads about treating canker here on BYC. FishZole (metronidazole, Flagyl) 250 mg divided into 2 doses 12 hours apart daily for 5 days can be used to treat canker. You will want to make sure you keep the water station clean and sanitized.

Give them plain drinking water or add some poultry vitamins to their water a couple of days a week. Clean and sanitize water stations daily.

Does this sound okay?

What you are looking for is Acidified Copper Sulfate, it is a food grade dietary supplement used for livestock (chickens, turkeys, hogs, cattle).

What you have found sounds like it's used for gardening-that won't work.

There is my feed store that has it but it's in a huge bag but one of our friends say that they'll use it for their gardening after us.

Yes, it usually comes in a fairly small bag. Don't get any that is designated for garden use.
If you have a vet - maybe they can get it for you?
