Hey I made Oyster stew for dinner... Fresh oysters Couple of cans of Progresso Loaded potato soup... All the juice from the jars of oysters... each jar only had three oysters but they were HUGE... So I split them down the middle. I added a Jar of Pementos and about three tablespoons worth of Spanish olives... I didint have any lemon. Oh and a boat load of fresh cracked pepper. Salt to taste... and the flavor was good.

cooked till the bibs on the oysters got ruffly and served it up with Saltines and a pat of butter in the bottom of the bowl.

I ate a whole bowl full.... :drool My son had second bowl... Which finished it off...

I notice some of you have your zones in your info... I want to do an herb garden. I am in Zone 8b 15-20 Frost?

I really need to get out of this house and in to my own...

I would think your herbs wouldnt do well in frost. Most herbs can be grown inside and some are finicky. Basil and mint are really easy to grow. I've had trouble with oregano, rosemary and thyme though. We grow out mint outside and it comes back every year. The basil dies from the frost though.
