Canning Whole Strawberries?

When I do mine I make a runny freezer jam( by adding alot more berries) out of them almost a thick syrup. and we use it on Waffles,icecream and shortcake cant beat it. If you have never had freezer jam you dont know what your missing.
 
I make a wonderful strawberry fig syrup and it has big chunks of strawberries in it. Its wonderful on homemade waffles or pancakes. My Dh likes it on his buttermilk biscuits. This year is FROG jelly (Fig, Rasberry, Orange, Grape).
